Red Ball Level 1 – Beginner Foundation
At Red Ball Level 1, young players are introduced to the basic rules and core principles of tennis. The focus is on developing fundamental skills such as catching, rolling, stopping the ball, and basic hitting techniques (forehand and backhand). Players learn proper grips, contact points, and finishing movements, while also building coordination through recovery and sideways movement drills. The program includes basic volleys, underarm serves, simple rallies with the coach, and an introduction to scoring.
Red Ball Level 2 – Skill Development
Red Ball Level 2 reinforces the foundations from Level 1 while advancing technical and movement skills. Players work on stability, balance, and both horizontal and vertical movement. Focus areas include directional hitting (cross-court, down the line, deep shots), drop serves, basic point play, and improved net play techniques (volleys and overheads). Players are introduced to different ball spins, especially topspin, to prepare them for more advanced rally and match scenarios.
